Very popular place among Madrileños but also well known by foreigners because of all reviews it receives. Booking is essential unless you prefer eating up close and personal with a total stranger next to you. Another option is having a wine and a "poncho" from the bar shelf. The service is pretty professional too. I shall recommended weekdays.

Super delicious tapas here! Even though it's a bit on the pricier side, I enjoyed all the food here. The tortilla de patatas here is the best I've had in Madrid. It is very crowded here and took us about 45 minutes to get a table for two at midnight on a Friday. However, you can grab something at the bar while waiting which is great.

People this place IS happening! It is packed but worth the wait to get a place at the bar. Great service, and a good mix of local&tourist crowd. Gin tonics are so good! And the Tapas are among the best in Madrid city center. We have: the tortilla de papas and the crystal bread tapa.
