Calle de Jorge Juan, 16, 28001 Madrid, Spain
Visited this restaurant while visiting from the US. Our hotel made us reservations and we were seated in a private room. Our waiter Luis did an excellent job serving us. His English was good and he made sure we had everything we needed. He was assisted by an older gentleman, perhaps a mgr..he also spoke very good English and was also a great help guiding us through menu items. The food was excellently seasoned and prepared..this was one of our better meals while in the city. Hats off to Luis and team for ensuring we had the best dining experience possible.
The quality of this restaurant remains extremely high; from the wonderful produce which is used to prepare the dishes to the exceptional wine list, to the service which is careful but not overbearing. The clients who frequent the restaurant are mostly regulars but there is a good mix with visitors and some tourists. It is difficult to book a table unless the management knows you or you book well in advance. It is definitely worth a visit.
Very nice restaurant specializing in see food but meat lovers will not leave hungry. All spectrum of Spanish appetizers, main courses and deserts. Hake and sea bass worth every euro. On top of this great selection of vines. As usually in Spain, this place is getting packed from 9pm. Recommended
We had 6 different waiters so no one knew what the other was doing. They never filled our wine glasses up or water. They asked us to put in our full meal order before we even got the wine to the table. They were arrogant and the food was just ok. Spend your money at Quentin down the street. That place is fantastic.
Best food. Go earlier (8pm) to get in without reservation. Great part of town for after dinner walk...
