Carrera de S. Jerónimo, 17, 28014 Madrid, Spain
Group meal on a business trip for 50+ people and it was excellent. Nice range of tapas, good wine and service. Would recommend a visit.
Starting from the welcome ceremony all the experience inside the restaurant was great. Senior Javier and Seniora Fer gave us an excellent service. The recommendations of Sr.Javier was unforgettable. Octopus, appetizer vegetable soup, sirloin steak and paella the whole menu, taste and quality was extremely high. We also recommend French toast which is excellent. And the bar was very successful, we recommend you to taste Aperol spritz in El Barril, you will thank us after the first...
That's awful. The bread is totally stale, like stone. The grilled octopus is bitter, as well as potato. How they managed to spoil potato? It's almost impossible. But they did it. And the sauce - it's disgusting. Prawns are very very bad. The worst in my life. Salty and too stinky. Service is not good also. Only interior is beautiful. I'm totally frustrated. And too expensive for such quality of food. And. Finally. They tried to add the appetizers we didn't ask to the bill. That's insane.
The restaurant is sophisticated and nice, but a little dark. The food is amazing - you can try excellent traditional paella (be careful, the portions are big) or cooked octopus from Galicia. The waiters are professional and friendly, they can also make the perfect match of food and wine. Besides darkness and a little bit uncomfortable air conditioning, it’s really sophisticated restaurant.
Friendly staff, good decor but very over-priced
