The restaurant's interior is equally charming, boasting a room with three impressive ceiling-to-wall wine racks and another with a cozy bar and a few dining tables. This inviting ambiance sets the perfect stage for a leisurely lunch with friends or a romantic evening for two. Casa Lhasa's mouthwatering menu offers a plethora of delectable options, making it a delightful challenge to settle on just one dish. The unique blend of cuisines - I’ve a suspicion many are old family secrets - will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on your taste buds. For wine aficionados, Casa Lhasa is a dream come true. The extensive organic wine collection is simply mind-blowing, and their selection of Mezcals is equally impressive. However, it's worth noting that this is not a cocktail bar, but rather a haven for wine and spirits enthusiasts. Although the restaurant experienced staffing shortages during our visit, the team's passion, knowledge, and dedication to providing an enjoyable experience shone through. The warm and friendly staff, especially Ben (5* to this man - and you won’t find that in any of my other reviews to date), went above and beyond to answer our questions and cater to our requests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Casa Lhasa attracts a diverse clientele, ranging from discerning locals to fortunate tourists and the upper echelons of global society. The value for money is outstanding, and you'll likely leave feeling satisfied even if the bill were 50% more. The overall charm and exquisite cuisine make it easy to appreciate the staff's hard work and dedication. Casa Lhasa is an absolute must-visit for a unique and unforgettable dining experience in San Lorenzo. With its phenomenal wine selection, delightful menu, and idyllic countryside setting, this restaurant is perfect for any occasion. A wonderful yet simple experience full of delicious flavours from the food and an incredible Catalan red cava (a must try). The friendly staff are great all executed in a laidback setting.
