Calle de Colón, 13, 28004 Madrid, Spain
Several months ago I walked past this place but it was too crowded to go in, which to me was a good sign. Now I’m visiting Madrid again with my girlfriend so we tried our luck and were not disappointed. The interior looks like it didn’t change for the better part of a century, the tapas are of course meant for sharing and so are the tables, if you’re visiting with a smaller number of people. The tapas are varied, authentically Spanish, homemade, small in size but great in taste. Highly recommended!
Awesome traditional experience and a local favourite. Great food and atmosphere. This place is super casual and there's more standing areas at the back. Just need to go underneath the bar to get to it.
Attention! 30€ Minimum for Credit Cards. Signs are tiny and in Spanish, so we didn’t see it! 🤣 drinks were great, and our bill was so cheap we didn’t meet the minimum. Food was fine - nothing to brag about. But the bar is what we’re all here for!
Love this place, all the fish pintxo dishes are amazing. Great, cheap wine, and a nice vibe amongst locals. Highly recommended. But bring cash: cards not accepted.
I really loved this experience. Definitely recommend. It is a classic Spanish bar with fantastic food, especially the tortilla de patatas.
