From the perspective on a non-AKB48 fan: Service is excellent and friendly and the food is adorably presented but only average in terms of quality. However, its shop with members' and group merchandise, along with a wall of members in the walkway makes for an interesting experience and look into Japanese pop culture. The fans who were present singing along to the music videos being played added to the fun atmosphere.

I give 4.5 star for AKB48 Cafe and shop Akihabara for good dessert value for money. The staffs were really helpful and really nice. however this place has many rules to follow.

Only went into the shop, it was decent. Had goods from many members and theater was playing over the speakers. Did see a wota out in the wild so it was very interesting...
