Wonderful historical pub in Temple Bar. If you visit Dublin it's mandatory to come here at least for one pint of Guinness after dinner. The atmosphere is unbelievable, so crowded but in the meantime so comfortable and nice. There's an invasion of people that causes the street to be closed to traffic... Absolutely a plus! Lovely place.
Great traditional pub. A good mix of locals and tourists. From what I can remember there's no music played but just the great sound of people talking and chatting. This is a perfect example of a great traditional Irish pub. Go here for a pint of Guinness and step back in time.
It's a very interesting bar, it's history and ambience are incomparable. Very local and traditional. Would say it's a must if you're into experiencing a real Irish pub. Doesn't have any food menu, either a great variety of beers.
My husband and I got off the plane, dropped off our bags at the hotel, and ventured out to find a pub and a pint of Guinness...and we found it!!! Mulligan's is still the highlight of our vacation! We sat at the bar and enjoyed some excellent beer and advice from our stellar bartender and a knowledgeable local about what we should see/do/eat in Ireland...they did not steer us wrong! We felt very welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our pints - the best Guinness pours we've had all trip! If we are ever in Dublin again (and I hope we will be!), we'll be back!
