The perfect way to really discover the Cliffs of Moher. Patrick was a great guide who grew up in the area and still lives there. He knows where the best spots are and has nice stories to tell. With a group is also nice to meet new people.

Amazing view. Definitely worth the drive. Quiet, not that many tourists. Great location for short visits, hikes or a wedding photoshoot (there was one going on the day we were there :D)

My family of four just traveled through Ireland and England, and although we loved other sites including Stonehenge and the Roman Baths, we are all in agreement that Pat Sweeney's hike along the coast to the Cliffs of Moher was the absolute highlight of our travels and most impressive experience we had. Pat's guide, which begins in Doolin and passes through his own property, ascends along the breathtaking coastline where he shares the vistas and landscape on which he grew up. He allows time to stop and take in the most amazing views, and when you arrive at the tourist center where 100's of people are gathered, you will realize how much more you have gained by seeing the cliffs along this private path. It's a magical experience.

Pat gives you a perspective of Moher you will not get just stopping at the Visitor's Center. He has put a lot of work into building a trail through the farms from O'Connor's Pub to O'Brien's tower. He is a part of the area and has a wide knowledge of the history. If you are going to see the cliffs, definitely give Pat a call.
