This is the heart of the Varanasi. The temple is one of the Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. My advise is to visit the temple early in the morning or late evening. The place is blissful. Now the management even updated their policies. It is must visit if anyone is visiting Varanasi. Just a wall across, one can see a mosque and it bears the culture of India,'unity in diversity'.🙏🙏

I love this place so much. I visit 1 times in a month. This temple is specially for lord shiva. This is the one of most visited temple in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh). The upper part of the temple is coated with real gold. If you visit here you love this place....

As it is a holy place to be visited at least once, every Hindu must visit the place. Well maintained, crowd control good. I sincerely wish Hindu priests will become more devout. Temple review not to be confused with the city of Varanasi.

So vibrant and could feel Lord Shiva's presence. After my visit to the temple, I felt that in life time, one should have darshan and grace of Lord Kashi Vishwanath. Pathway to the temple is very narrow and sometimes, slippery. Yet, it is easy, when we take lord's name with immense devotion.

As mobile phones are not allowed, I couldn't upload any pic. But this post will guide you for the points to keep in mind :- 1.) Keep all your belongings in your hotel room. 2.) There are lockers available outside the entrance of the temple, but they will either be directly charged OR the shop-keepers will force you to buy stuffs from their shop to avail free locker service. 3.) If you are Lucky like me, during peak season, free booths for lockers service will also be present. 4.) If you have kids OR senior citizens with you, early morning is the best time to visit. Around 4:30AM. 5.) You have drinking water facility inside the temple. If you find this useful, press the like button and share it with others.
