Beautiful place with huge historical significance.There are beautiful staircases, facades, towers and balconies. There are elaborately painted rooms and some exquisite furniture. Please carry sufficient water because water is not sufficient on the premises.

Not a huge fort if one compares it to those Jodhpur/Jaipur, but the culture is clearly visible... Suitable time to visit is in the afternoon... Parking and toilet facilities available. Has a fort-museum nearby..... The intricate designs and the lavishness if erstwhile occupants of the palace is seen everywhere...

Beautiful and huge place having historical value, facts and stories. It's the only fort made on plains. Has proper shopping and eating places as well as well as the museum and cannons.

The government guides are provided for free over there, but still they will bargain out quite a sum from your pockets. The place is a nice place to visit with your family. Historically very active.
