Rhodes 851 00, Greece
Just over €5 per adult and upto 2 children free . Very helpful attendant who advised for you to get best price. The place is not very modern but fun for children. Some lovely looking fish and interesting exhibition on fish preservation from " Alien" invasion.
Me and my son enjoyed this aquarium. Not massive, but a unique way to display local marine life! And about 5€ admission each is not too painful on the pocket
Don't waste your time. Its so small and old fashioned. You could finish the whole place in under 10 minutes. Even the petting pool is not something that i would put my hand in. I really wanted to like it but its not worth the time or money
Small aquarium built in the 1930's in an art deco style. Has a mix of information displays classed as a museum and then various viewing tanks set in the walls of cave like walkways. There is a large tank in the centre with several larger fish including rays. The aquarium is definitely on the small side with not many displays but does include a touch pool for children.
Fab hour or so out of the midday sun with the kids. There are more modern aquariums in the world, but this one is special. Set in an underground cave like system this, I believe, is the oldest aquarium in Europe and the building itself is of significance. A little gem at the tip of Rhodes.
