Chatzimichali Ntaliani 46, Chania 731 32, Greece
A mix of tourist-friendly and local. Half of the restaurant is outdoor seating. They accommodate parties of pretty much all sizes and seem fairly popular - not many empty chairs. Rating deducted due to the bad acoustic properties of the venue (very loud) and the stressed, yet always smiling, staff running around headlessly. Served a pannacotta and spirits together with the bill.
By far my favourite local restaurant in Chania. Has maintained it’s quality over the years and serves really tasty local dishes. Cant wait to go back!
Good restaurant that serves local food to reasonable prices. The salads are good, and the different meatdishes are delicious - especially the suckling pig. Well worth a visit.
Nice food. Nice staff. Touristic but in a good way. Still authentic. Locals and tourists share the tables. You better have to book.
The servers were so sweet and accommodating! Unfortunately, this was the only meal of the trip that was not at all a success. The Greek salad was aesthetically gorgeous, but was overwhelming in taste. And the snails... they tasted like worms! I pretended to eat them because I felt bad, but whoa... poor snails dying in vain. Anyway, maybe try ordering something else?
