Ράχη, Nidri 311 00, Greece
If you're going from Nidri by foot to the waterfall the whole excursion wont be the most captivating one as you will mainly walk on asphalt. The last part of the trip is more interesting as it involves walking on path through rocky terrain. For that reason comfortable shoes are advisable. As for the waterfall itself, it isn't anything special
Went there and took a bath. The water is a little bit cold but it's worth it. The trek till there is really easy even for older people. Pro tip:doing the bath but naked is wonderful! :)
Excruciatingly beautiful natural environment. Wildlife can still be observed (lots of amphibians and even the rare sweet water crab). Too bad though that tourists can freely roam and ruin the place by bathing in the waterfalls.
Beautiful hiking path (it is an easy one 15 minutes aproximately)until the waterfall, from the parking. Pretty impressive nature, the waterfall did not have much water at the middle of September. Swimming at a the cold waters of the waterfall's small lake is an option.
On August there isn't actually a waterfall, due to luck of rain, but still there is quite a view. You can go by car but you have to walk about 500 meters (rocky stairs and rocky terrain). You can use snickers or flip flops, you can have a swim at a little natural pool under the waterfall but be aware of the slippery rocks around it.
