Fairly enough compromise if you can't drive further outside the town centre. Be aware of your belongings.

Small and cosy beach with our wonderful seafood restaurants immediately behind the beach all with WiFi and the free Chania WiFi service. A wonderful setting to watch the sun go down while relaxing.

This is a very good sandy beach close to town. There are sun beds for rent or you can lie down on the sand. The water was warm in October and so was the sunshine. On windy days, you can play in the surf, but the islands outside the beach keep the waves from getting too big. Lots of good restaurants along the beach. Very pleasant.
