Very nice to visit, quiet and wasn't windy at all while I was there. Not so great for sunbathing or snorkeling, not sandy at all, just volcanic rock under foot and the lake itself is very murky as it doesn't see much water flow.

It is a beautiful little place! You can only find it with GPS but is worth seeing the wild scenery and the rare Palm trees of that region.

A few kilometers away from famous Elafonissi beach with thousands of tourists Aspri Limni (White Lake) gave us a fantastic day in the sun. We only shared the whole beach with two other families! Sharp volcanic gravel so shoes is recommended. No shade, no toilets, no food but extraordinary beautiful! May be hard to find but Google Maps guided us perfect. Narrow gravel road last few kilometers.

This small bay is good for photography, not for swimming. Although snorkeling outside the bay may be very scenic, but beware of bearded fireworms and very sharp rocks and don't forget shoes.

Amazing beach! This is more of a place for adults and couples, people looking for peace and quiet as there are no taverns or toilets, no facilities. However, we absolutely loved that place because it was so peaceful.
