Very good food and friendly service. The owner is very welcoming and makes you feel like home. The food quality and quality is excellent, and not very expensive. Finally, at night there is also live music.

After reading several great online reviews, we decided to give “Adespoto” a try, and it absolutely did not disappoint! It’s located in the heart of chania old town, just 5 min away from where we were staying. If you are looking for a restaurant away from the chaos & crowds, this place is it. This restaurant features live Greek music & one the musicians was also the owner, which made for a very homely ambiance. It is located in a secret garden that is not too big or small, but perfect to get a real taste of Greece. It is a very charming place that took my breath away, and was also the location of a movie that was filmed there in 2012! The food selection was incredible serving awesome traditional Greek foods with daily specials that were even offered off the menu. We tried several appetizers and main courses and everything was just DELICIOUS! We came to eat here at least 5 times during our stay as we just couldn’t get enough. I have to give it up to the ladies in the kitchen, you deserve recognition and an applause!! The staff were extremely professional and very friendly taking the the time to meet and talk with us during all our visits. They made us feel welcome and appreciated. I have to say, they seemed very hard working & were simply amazing people that will always hold a special place in our hearts. A very big thank you to everyone at “Adespoto” for making our vacation in Greece so memorable. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Great vibe. Had lunch (very good fish and lamb chops) and went back again in the evening for true taverna.
