Curry wurst is surely not a gourmet dish, but it is an experience worth having when in Berlin. Feels quite authentic having a currywurst under this bridge on a crowded Friday afternoon. There is a small tent right next to the kiosk where to sit down (if not too crowded).

The real original Berliner Currywurst. The meat of the sausage is soft and tender. You can taste that it is self-made, not industrial product. I can highly recommend this place

I have witnessed improvements over my sporadic visits. During the time span of 4 months I have noticed the fast servings thus the short time waiting in line. This came with a high price. The fries and sausage are fried in a kind of schocking way so that they get cooked ready faster. For this reason the ready food tastes best after 5mins of letting it rest. Over time the harshness of the chips/sausage was taken under control. The price can only be paid in waiting time. Perhaps someone suggested changing the frying settings all of a sudden, and this has led to pure success, taste improvements and satisfies client guts

My absolute favorite curry wurst!! The pomme frittes were super hot and crisp as well! If your in Berlin, this historic establishment is a local treasure and a MUST visit!!!
