Place itself not too good, surroundings are very good

Very vibrant place. French history related. A plenty of restaurant available which are offer different types of delicious food. Good transportation system as well.

Not much here except the large pillar and plaza with kids skateboarding nearby. Definitely grab some photos while you're here. What makes this place cool is the history here, being that the Bastille stood in this spot before being destroyed during the French Revolution. Lots of stores and cafes nearby as well.

This monument is rather unknown. I didn't even know what it was when I arrived here. This is where La Bastille stood (it doesn't exist any longer) You can still view a piece of the foundation in the metro. I do believe that this is something you should see when nearby.

Not as pompous as let say Concorde or Mars but nice place to chill out. Watch out not to be run over by nearby skateboarders. Nice vibe, liked it.
