Beautiful 1930s movie theater, one of the oldest and most interesting in Paris, with a huge screen in the main auditorium (where you'll be seated on the balcony) and vintage fittings. Feels like an adventure. Just a shame the Art Deco facade is hidden behind scaffolding at the moment...

Very good cinema that I tried for the first time for the Daniel Craig James Bond marathon (the Grand Large is superb and the theater decoration is beautiful). Only downside is that the leg room is definitely too tiny, especially for tall people (like many Parisian show rooms) and the armrests prevent you from spreading your legs if there is nobody around you. Bearable for a movie but very uncomfortable for an entire marathon

Born and raised in Paris, France, I lived in the states for 8 years and had the incredible customer service experience there. I came back to France in 2017 and I have been amazed by the very poor customer service this country has. Today Stephen gave me hope for the first time with an incredible service. Thank you very much for your time and to have gave my friend and I the opportunity to have a great evening in your cinema.

It's a pity that the big façade was under reconstruction. Good organization, smooth access, entrance / exit streams separated. The most precious for me: opportunity to see films in English with French subtitles. Picture quality was good, sound was ok, not overwhelming (maybe it's different from room to room). Still, worth visiting thanks to the building and the feeling of going to watch a film. The pandemic has cut many of the pieces of ordinary life, yet Grand Rex indeed remains a cinema theatre, both an entertainment and an experience with a simple access via central busy boulevards.

The cinema looks beautiful outside & inside and all the workers are really nice. The sound quality was amazing but the room we were in (salle 2) had a rather small screen, similar to a projector at home. On top of that there seemed to be no AC and everyone was very hot, at one point I considered leaving. I read in a review there was an AC problem but I think it’s better to not fill the entire room if this is a known issue. The chairs were also not that comfortable & very tight (around you and in front of you). Snacks were ok, not too expensive but not enough choice in my opinion.
