Vlieghavenlaan 50, 3140 Keerbergen, Belgium
Good course, friendly staff in the bar.
Service can be better
A hidden gem located in a little Belgian town. Nice golf course, clean and bright reception and very friendly staff. The restaurant is also nice and very spacious with two terraces. Serve local Belgian dishes, price is correct.
After a long competition day we were met with an arrogant and unfriendly bar owner. Incompetent staff and complete chaos. I was told it wasn't possible anymore to get a particular dish, and saw someone else get that dish later on. A very nice golf experience ruined by the absolute lack of organisational and customers skills in the bar.
Keerbergen Golf Club: Laid out on flat terrain, this mainly wooded and compact course has many challenging and interesting holes. Three of the six par-3s require a testing carry over water, while many drives will need to be threaded through the avenues of trees that line the fairways. Perhaps the tightest of them all being the tee-shot at the good-length par-4 3rd. The best hole on the course is arguably the lakeside par-4 18th, which invites you to take on as much of the lake as you dare with your tee-shot.
