I'm giving 4 stars because 3 menu options were sold out by 10 a.m., so I settled for whatever was available on the menu. The guy taking orders was a big help, suggesting good stuff from what was left. Plus, he brought our drinks to our table, which was nice. Heads up, parking's tough, so you might need extra time to find a spot if you're driving. But overall, it was a really good visit. The food wasn't just pretty for pictures, it was also delicious.

The coffee frappe was delicious and unique. It was cute. Not so sure about service because of being takeaway. Their food was sold out super early as usual so not sure what time we’d have to arrive to be able to try the food. But will definitely be back early on weekdays 😊

I got the classic croque monsieur and the viral coffee frappe. A little expensive (just over $26 for both) BUT It was all delicious and I can’t fault it at all. I also have no regrets. Only thing is that it’s such a popular spot and it’s all outdoor. So when we got there, at 8am on Sunday morning, the line was long and the wait felt like forever in the heat. Once we got our food we had nowhere to sit. But when we found a place in the shade to stand and eat I immediately understood why there was a wait. It was really, really, really good.

Happy to have a new quick, to-go brekky/brunch option in the Newstead bubble. I have tried the Madame, Monsieur and the Brandade so far and loved them all, with my favourite being the Brandade. However, my partner who prefers more simple flavours preferred the Monsieur. Would definitely go back again to try the other croques on the menu as I know this is going to a regular spot to visit for us. I think their menu is very clever. It's an elevated breakfast/brunch menu that suits the aesthetic of the area, but still at an affordable price. Nothing I have seen anywhere else in Brisbane. The staff were super friendly and service was efficient. Would highly recommend!

Finally get to try the famous Croque Madame (egg was cooked to perfection, nice and runny)and Croque Brandade (poached cod and mash potato). I ordered the coffee frappe as well (well balanced flavour with the creamy Hokkaido vanilla soft serve). The service staff were really friendly as well!
