The most amazing staff and facilities. The staff especially Shane went above and beyond to make sure we were treated like royalty. Shane treated us better than our own family. The best place and people I have seen in the whole of Australia! Shout out to Shane!!!

Beautiful hotel, attentive staff, decent size rooms with views, amazing location. I really can’t complain! I felt compelled to leave a review because the Google rating simply does not reflect how good the hotel is. Would definitely recommend

Fresh, modern & new with peaceful colour palette. Foyer smells nice. Room is not big but beautifully decorated, neat & clean. Bathroom is elegantly styled & no annoying tiny sample shampoo & conditioner etc bottles. Full size good quality products! Hotel is in a great location. Across from Pacific Fair, cafes, bars & restaurants. Love it!

Unsure why this property has so many bad reviews... Room was nice, beds were a bit hard but oh well, we had a great view of the Gold Coast and pool area. Bathroom was stylish and big. Staff were extremely nice, always smiling and saying hello as you walked past. Housekeeping was done every morning for our stay. Only issue we had was finding our way around, was a little bit confusing for the first day, especially the elevator situation but after a while we got used to it. I really recommend paying extra for the buffet breakfast, hands down the best buffet I've had, so much variety and all the food was hot and fresh. I wouldn't recommend staying here for a long period of time, 3 nights was more than enough. The room being only a suite, forced you out more (no complaints) but would be nicer if they had a separate area for a lounge room.. I would recommend staying here if you're not too interested on staying in the busy star but would still like the easily access the stars features and also a great location. If you're planning on going to the casino or restaurant/s the star has to offer, than I'd just stay there instead.

Great value for money, immaculate service and beautiful, tasteful rooms. There really isn't anything I can fault with Dorsett. The beds are very comfortable and all rooms ice stayed in have had wonderful views. The rooms are always very clean and they service the rooms for you. Overall, this is the place we stay (or The Star) and is almost like our home away from home.
