I am originally from Sydney where good food is really easy to find so when we moved to the Gold Coast we struggled to find something well priced and with a great variety and of course quality is super important. The Bazaar is consistently good. Sunday Brunch is Fantastic! and we will be attending Melbourne Cup Luncheon for a second year in a row. If you are looking for a great Buffet for a casual Lunch or a special occasion dinner this is the best Buffet by far on the Coast.
Overall experience was okay. The prawns, oysters, and sashimi from the seafood section was quite good. However everything else which required more preparation such as the freshly cooked steak, dumplings, pizza etc tasted average. Good dessert selection and some of them tasted quite nice. Overall had a filling meal and excellent service but nothing food wise really stood out that much. Would recommend getting money’s worth off seafood :)
Taste: 3/5 - the food was fine. Very few of the foods that required preparation were tasty enough for me to go back for seconds or thirds. The sirloin steak (medium) was on the tough side, and the pork/prawn shumai was a little dry. The seafood was nice and fresh, albeit the oysters were some of the smallest I've seen served at a restaurant. The dessert selection was impressive and had some great morsels. Value: 2/5 for the calibre of food, I cannot say that the buffet was worthy of the fairly hefty price tag. Service: 5/5 waiters/waitresses were helpful and friendly Overall: 3/5
Steaks perfectly cooked to order. Plenty of variety with a monster dessert wall. An enjoyable evening with friendly staff.
Today we had Brunch at Bazaar. The welcome champagne was warmer than the hot food. Great selection of food but for $59pp, i expect food to be kept at the correct temp. Cold eggs, hash browns and bacon for a start are not what you would expect at such a well respected eatery. The service however was great.
