Best rink! I had my daughter's 8th birthday party here on Sunday (8/30/2020) and it actually was scheduled for Saturday. Hurricane Laura wasn't interested in my plans. Tiffani, the manager, was extraordinarily professional & accommodating with new arrangements. Aubrey was extremely helpful and patient with my party guests in retrieving shoe sizes and teaching us the proper way to use the roller skates. The other fella who was in charge of everyone actually skating (name unknown) was helpful with giving verbal lessons & guidance to the non-skaters. He also ensured that everyone who skated were aware of the rules in the rink and follow safety protocols. I am overjoyed and thankful at this staff's genuine customer service skills and their team work I was frazzled making sure every child was accounted for, but the Pier 2 Roller Rink made us feel so welcome. Again, thank you all!

A great place for roller skating while having an amazing view of the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan's skyscrapers and Brooklyn Bridge! You have to buy tickets online in advance of a day or two because they are usually sold out in person. Tickets give access to the rink for 90 minutes. If you need roller skates and you can rent a pair at admission for $7 (as of October, 2020). You bag can be stored in a small locker, but make sure you have a spare quarter to use it. Totally recommend this roller rink for beginers and people with intermediate experience.

If I could give place a 0 star rating I would. My friend and I came here a couple weeks ago, we waited in line for around 20 minutes and as soon as we’re next in line the dude working there tells us that the ticketing stand ran out and they weren’t making anymore tickets. So my friend and I are standing there dumbfounded like what do you mean? You could have told us that and the whole line in the back of us, so we had to get off of line and go order them online which if we did buy the tickets we would have to get back on line but all the way in the back which was a no because the skating time was about to end since it was from 3:00-4:30. So my friend and I just said forget it since the next time to skate was gonna be at 7pm so we left. It’s like why would you run out of tickets if you know it’s busy on Saturdays and many people come on weekends. The people who worked there were very unprofessional. I will never step foot in that place again. It was waste of a 30 minute walk🙄.

Ok, here goes. I ordered 3 tickets but only three kids could go, so I decided to use the ticket and go skating for myself. I went up to the counter and the young man name ADRIAN literally said nothing at all to greet me when I went up to the counter.. he gave me the most condescending hand gesture pointing to the lady to the left of me. That was the first straw. Remember I had one extra ticket and was going to skate, but I was soooooo turned off by this boy’s POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! There was man there named Timmy, he was a great help by giving us that thing used to for people that cannot skate. So the night goes by, the kids had ok fun, the skating ring is so outdated and the floors are Not smooth. Towards the end of the night as we were taking off our skates, I get a complaint from one of the kids that the worker by the name of MARTINA was being rude to her! These are little kids!! Why do people come to work angry in the field of customer service. Fun at got fed up and spoke with TIFFANY the supervisor. She apologized for everything and assured me that I would receive a refund because of the POOR customer service and she said everything to appease me at the time. We went there on 9/26/2020 and I have not heard from anyone or received any refund! Honestly what bothers me is that we as CUSTOMERS are we dealing with our own issues to, we just come there to have some fun and forget about our problems and BOOM somebody with a stinking attitude ruin the whole night. RETRAIN ALL OF YOUR STAFF! Teach them better customer service, if they hate their jobs, find another one and stop messing up everyone else’s day/night!!
