We’ve been waiting for this to open for awhile now. They are finally opened today! Edge is the tallest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, with a one-of-a-kind design. It’s suspended in mid-air, giving you the feeling of floating in the sky with 360-degree views you can’t get anywhere else. They build it see through floor glass spot, where looking down at your feet, 100 stories down, reminded me of the Grand Canyon, but a lot lot more, appear as you are floating high above New York City’s skyscraper. It’s a bit dizzying, nerve wrecking, and thrilling all at once. Latest technology glasses lean out over the New York city on 30-45 degree angled out, made you feel as you are literally on The EDGE! You’ve never experienced New York like this before. Forget other buildings, this is it! And much cheaper then Chrysler Building and Empire State Building or NBC Observation Deck! While here, visit The Vessel too and check out all the delicious restaurants at the Hudson Yards! I can’t wait to come back again, give me that HIGHER than LIFE feelings! One of the most beautiful sightings in New York in my opinion, opened in March 2020, when entering the building through a really impressive display that explains all the futuristic construction and ambition of the area for green and innovative construction, I was really impressed! When you come to the observation everything is experiential and important for you to feel this way, the elevator has screens that show you a 3D video as you go up / down and then when you come to the view you see a just perfect view! I recommend arriving at sunset to see the city both day and night, most impressive. In addition to the regular ticket, you can also buy a card that includes a glass of champagne / wine, etc. for all who are interested. Really recommended in my opinion.
