An excellent large zoo with a huge variety of animals. I think both adults and children will like this place - it is a very pleasant place to relax with the whole family. There are many places to eat and relax after a long walk around the zoo. At the same time, it is very clean here, and you can see that the animals are kept in very good conditions: all the cages are clean, and they feed everyone regularly. Although nothing prevents you from walking here alone and looking at different types of exotic animals, besides, there are very pleasant landscapes here.

Very organized with one way traffic during these weird times. Many helpful volunteers that were happy to help. It was a little warm and around noon so many animals were not very active or in view. I loved watching and listening to the excited children as much as the different animals we did see. I will go back but figure out what is the best time

Wow! We got stuck in Denver in a layover because of the snow storm. We decided to stay and make the best of it. The zoo was on our list and we went on the warmest of the days (35 degrees). Immediately greeted by the active lions and African wild dogs. Staff was friendly and answered questions. I haven’t been to a zoo in a long time and was really impressed by Denver’s. While some animals weren’t seen, because of the temperature, there was plenty to keep us entertained for 3 hours. The gorilla, orangutan (baby!!!), and elephants were our favorites. We got hot dogs for lunch that were delicious! Well priced too. Was not crowded, the timed tickets were perfect. Well done Denver staff!

I took my niece to the zoo this week for her birthday and was very pleasantly surprised. They are doing a wonderful job with social distancing and I found the crowd to very accepting and respectful to one another. Our favorite stop was the shark and stingray pool! It does cost an additional $5 per person, but we'll-worth it. The staff was extremely helpful helping guide us through the changes all day. I definitely recommend a trip, it helped give us a sense of normalcy even with masks on!

We were gifted an annual membership for the holidays and could not be more pleased with the perks. We enjoy the reservation system and have never struggled to find a time slot that works for our toddler’s nap/meal-time scheduling. The attractions are clearly labeled with arrow markers to indicate the 1 hour & 1.5-2 hour loop options. The carousel is now open and felt very safe with dividers and sections blocked off to provided a safe distance between guests. We have found that the predator section features feedings on Tuesday afternoons around 2pm and those have been both fun and informative!
