A nice decorated restaurant in a historic hotel. During the pandemic period, the restaurant keeps tables in a comfortable distance. And the outdoor siting adds more tables. The food is delicious and with decent portion. We ordered a combo “The Real Maine Meal “The Twin Classic” which came with two 6in lobster rolls, a cup of New England clam chowder, and a 16oz beer, which I believed it’s very reasonably priced. The calamari as a starter was also tasty. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Freeport.

You will not be disappointed. Their chowder is delicious!! The waitress we had was down to earth and great to talk to. She could tell we were exhausted from traveling and really had as laughing. I don't know her name but she really was great -absolutely made my night. Food is so fresh and they are accommodating with certain food issues (dairy, gluten, veggie etc) Save room for desert - You will thank me later ☺️

This was our first time visiting. All in all we were disappointed. My Wife and Daughter ordered the prime rib, I got fish and chips and our Son in law got the fettuccini with lobster. We also got bacon wrapped scallops and spinach and avocado dip and we each got drinks as well. The scallops were great and the ladies liked the dip, the drinks were very good as well. The prime rib which was ordered as medium well and medium were a complete bust, my Wife's was medium rare at best and was taken back only to be brought out about 2 minutes later, the cuts were very thick and a minute on the flat top is not going to cut it. It was sent back for another piece, this one came back medium rare, our Daughter sent hers back as well and it came back medium not medium well. The cut was not all that tender but the biggest surprise was the lack of flavor. The pasta dish was very good good, the fish and chips was ok, not crispy at all which was disappointing, they bread it and it did not crisp up. The serving portion was quit large. The waitress, was nice and comped the ladies a desert. The waitress could have been more attentive. Not sure we would order the same things again.

Very accommodating for my 4 and 18 month old Grand Daughters for lunch. Great friendly service. It's a place where people don't think about. Prices are very reasonable.

Limited menu due to the current circumstances but what we had was excellent. The scallops wrapped in bacon were cooked to perfection and the crab cakes were just as good. Main courses were fried clams and seared sesame tuna. Both were satisfying and generously portioned. The dessert was blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream and complimented the meal very nicely.
