I was visiting Boulder from out of state and ate here on my last night, to cap off my trip. It was a great decision. My cousin, who goes to CU Boulder, said I had to come here and she was absolutely right. The restaurant is elegant, with very knowledgeable and friendly staff, and delicious food. We started off the meal with a tomato bisque and a French onion soup which were both incredibly flavorful. Our chicken entrees were covered in just the right amount of sauce and my fries were seasoned perfectly. It's not a huge restaurant, it's very cozy, so I recommend making reservations. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely be back!

The service was wonderful. The mushrooms tasted waterlogged with no flavor. The duck breast was tough but only the duck leg was edible, with taste. The salad niçoise and steak tartare was good, not great or outstanding. The shrimp cocktail was mediocre at best. For the $200+ price, we expected outstanding for Boulder, Colorado. BTW, do not eat here if you have celiac or need true gluten free!

Just not the same. My favorite restaurant and was devastated when it shut down and beyond ecstatic when we heard it was reopening. I will say the owner/manager was lovely and accommodated us and our baby so well! But unfortunately the food just isn’t the same. The half chicken wasn’t like the old and I feel like there are very few options now. Just not great food for the price. So bummed to see it change so much and wish they had kept the old menu. Additionally, not psyched on being charged $4 for a side of aioli for French fries on a very pricey meal. Wish it was better food, but had a great martini and really enjoyed the conversation with the manager!

Hello? We've been seated for 15 minutes! Tonight came in at 4:07 (just after they opened). Initially we were told without a reservation, we couldn't be seated. This was mind boggling as there were only two tables sat inside. The hostess changed her mind and suggested, "select any table you want." The hostess asked if we wanted still or sparkling. My wife suggested sparkling. Presto. The hostess brought us some water. Then we sat around for 15 minutes. We could see two wait staff gabbing by the bar. We saw other tables being attended to. We didn't even get a, "I'll be right there in a moment" from anyone. We stood up, tossed a couple $1's on the table. We walked out, even passing some manager type in a nice suit who couldn't care less. Pre-Covid-19, this was one of our favorite Boulder hot spots. It's a shell of what it once was. Terrible service. Terribly disappointing.
