A short but steep hike up from Cal campus, rewarded with a stunning view. Recently I found a beehive in a tree on the way up :) 🐝🐝. The view is much better than you would expect. Recommend hiking on a cool day and/or bringing water - or you could stop in Downtown Berkeley for a cold drink afterwards.

The Big C is not maintained so the C is almost completely covered in debris. Great view. Hopefully, after Covid goes away they clean it up and repaint it. Then it's a five star. Hint: Park at the Foothill parking lot and walk up. Wear hood hiking shoes as the path is not paved and the dirt can get very loose.q

Beautiful views of Berkeley and the greater Bay Area! A must for new students, tourists and locals. Stop at the swing for some cool pics or make your way to the top for a scenic reward after a steep hike up. Totally worth it :)
