Arch 46, Ropewalk, Maltby St, London SE1 3PA, UK
I love this place. Went to a place called Malt in there on a Friday night to see a comedy lineup and it was absolutely perfect. Just enough people to feel lively, but not so many that it felt crowded. The old-timey toilets about halfway down the market were clean and cute. Kicking myself for not getting any photos. The bar Malt, itself, is also excellent. Fun and comfortable, plus the wonderful bartender was a sweet woman who blended perfectly into the comedy chit chat. Highly recommend, I'm definitely going back.
This market is the best hidden gem. The food vendors are all amazing and it’s a perfect place to spend and afternoon out or evening/night. Right next to the beer mile so it’s very easy to make a day out of both.
South London food market (close to Tower bridge) with some permanent restaurants and bars under the railway arches and plenty of pop up food stalls, something for everyone. This is a good weekend visit!
A great day out at the Tower of London steeped in history, and the site of many a beheading. Then off to nearby market.
Think I was expecting to find more when I got here, it is a nice little street section with some good food stalls. Even though we got here nearly half an hour after their stated opening time near enough all the stalls were still mid way prepping food or setting up.
