Iona, United Kingdom
I visited the isle of Iona over 15 years ago during high school, and I still get chills (good ones) when I think about my trip. This island is ozzing with a humble sense of pride and history.
Stunning place; head to north end of island away from shops for views of gannets diving. Listen closely next to meadows to hear corncrake.
The most beautiful beaches in the area. Incredibly peaceful. You can walk easily all around the island.
Amazing peaceful beautiful. Full of inspiration for my next art project.
A truly sacred space. Peaceful , great walks, attractive scenery, friendly local people. Ideal place for slowing down and recharging one's batteries. Beautiful worship in the abbey.
