The best thing to do is use the walk in app for this restaurant, so you can go for a drink in the area and wait for a table. They don't seem to take reservations and there is a queue outside. The food was very flavoursome and the service attentive. As a table with four people there was a small gap when waiting for some of the dumpling dishes. But overall a great meal. For vegetarians there is a small choice of dishes, but most of the dumpling dishes are pork or prawn based. Didn't have an issue with it myself as I'm not a vegetarian!

Was introduced to Din Tai Fung in Shanghai and absolutely loved it! Couldn't wait to try it again somewhere in Europe. Luckily London had a restaurant and it is just as good as its Chinese counterpart. Friendly staff and by the looks (and sounds) of it genuinely Asian, adding to the atmosphere. Would definitely eat there again next time I'm in London, and secretly hoping for a restaurant to open in Amsterdam.

Absolutely loved my first experience which was over lunch. Great service, amazing food and vegetarian friendly, lovely drinks and a beautiful and clean environment. Definitely would go again and highly recommend it especially if you love your buns!!

Very nice semi formal stylish decor. Service reasonably fast with friendly helpful staff. The food is well presented and served as it is made. Sadly we found the taiwanese food very bland on most dishes. We asked for some chilly oil to spice things up, but this literally was the mildest chilly sauce on earth. Just as bland as the dishes served. Still feeling a little hungry we ordered some dim sum. Looked great but very watery. We had to make an incision in the base to let it all run out. The only dish we enjoyed was the garlic spinach.

Really beautiful food. Loved every mouthful. Service great with attentive staff who were very friendly. High end restaurant. Loved watching how the food is prepared as it is done behind glass. Some of appeared to be made as ordered, dough rolled, filling put in and closed (some with 16 tucks).
