If you are looking to get the ultimate photo of the Grand Mosque, this it IT! Although you can get some amazing photos of the Mosque from inside, stepping back and seeing it from afar is very impressive. Not to mention the perfectly placed water feature on the ground which creates an amazing reflection of the Mosque. The visitor centre has been designed very nicely and has areas to sit and admire the scene or watch the sun go down. Certainly if you are photographer this is a must!

We thoroughly enjoyed our guide although I can’t remember her name. She was so knowledgeable about the memorial. She was open to any question. Inside the building were many interactive activities for children and adults alike. It is located directly across from the Grand Mosque so it is easy to enjoy these two places in one day. Very understated and almost empty of visitors, but really beautiful memorial to fallen soldiers. On Mondays and Fridays there is a small ceremony at 5pm. The most stunning views of the Grand Mosque, especially at night time. Not to be missed if you are staying in the Ritz Carlton given it's literally just outside the entrance to the hotel

Beautiful memorial adjacent Sheikh Zayed Mosque. This place gives a spectacular view of the mosque. Parking area is vast. Amphitheater is present. It is good to go during late evening.

Peaceful and calm. Beautifully designated and well constructed. This place has its magical moments on sunsets, when Grand Mosques will reflect in its water.

Superb view of the Sheikh Zared mosque. It's recommended to visit at sunset for the best effect. Beware of mosquitoes breeding in the water.
