Drive slow but walk fast at night. It has a great view and guarded during the week. Night time is extremely dangerous on this bridge. Stay woke👀

This is a beautiful bridge both during the day and the night, the bridge itself is safe as there are guards watching the area. I'd strongly suggest that you stay vigilant when you're off the bridge as the areas on the the opposite sides of the bridge are not exactly "safe".

When I first came to Johannesburg I was told it's not safe to walk alone but now since there are security guards I sort of love it and I truly enjoy walking while watching the trains go by.

Great scenery while on a run or driving by. Not sure about when walking though. I'm always advised to walk in groups and not too late as it can sometimes be a hotspot for muggings.
