It is very interesting in principle and it s huge, so it is not possible to read everything. The point not.in favour is that the museum is not well organized because the information are presented in a very dispersive way and it s not clear in what order to read and follow the things presented at the walls because they don't indicate it. At the moment there is an additional temporary exhibition about Nelson Mandela which is very nice and to see!

So sad to imagine that all of this happened in real life. I was on the verge of losing hope for humanity and the spirit that drives mankind when I visited this site, but for the hope, the courage, and the strength that Nelson Mandela represents. I'm amazed that someone who had passed through so much is the same one who turned around to lead reconciliation, preaching unity in diversity. I still think the whites owe Africans genuine remorse and a rebuilding of mankind, human personality, human dignity and a restoration of the walls and soul of the Africa that was destroyed centuries ago. Africa needs a rebirth!

The number one thing I wanted to do while in Johannesburg was to visit the Apartheid Museum. There is so much history to learn while walking through this museum. Make sure to give yourself 2 to 3 hours if you want to see everything. There was also a special exhibit of Nelson Mandelas life, which was also amazing to learn all about. There's also a little shop and restaurant as you are about to exit.

The museum is really well done and offers an incredible look into this really sad part of South African history. Also the currently running special exhibition of Nelson Mandela is totally worth visiting this place! By the way, there are a lot of safe parking possibilities right in front of the museum. You can easily go there by your own (rental) car if you have one.

It is easy to navigate through the museum and the displays are placed in sequential order which makes it easy to follow. It is a long tour which should be maybe split into two days as there is a lot to get through but nonetheless, very educational and accurate.
