Joy's Adventure Excursion & Coastal Cruise

This excursion was my family's favorite part of the entire vacation! By far! We booked a full day package tour from our resort at St. James Morgan Bay. Let me start from the beginning... JJ greeted us very casually as we walked along the beach of our resort. He said hello and handed us a flyer. No pressure what so ever! I thanked him and asked him some questions. He was happy to answer all of them. We decided the next morning to book the trip with him. It started on the beach with introductions to our guide. His name was Jonathan, a.k.a. Snoop Pup. We got in the boat and took off for our tour. Jonathan was so informative. He pointed out some awesome sights along the way and was really funny. We hit the mud baths & the waterfall. What an awesome experience! He took pictures for us and everything. Then there was the stop at Joy's house for a home cooked meal. AND WHAT A MEAL IT WAS! The food was amazing. And it was truly home cooked. It was the best meal we had on the island! After lunch we headed to Sugar Beach for some snorkeling! Again, an adventure of a lifetime. The sea life my kids and I were able to see was absolutely amazing. Then we got back on the boat for our trip back to the resort. We were on the smaller of the two boats that went out that day. This afforded us some extra speed which lead to a little more sightseeing on the trip back. To add to the fun we were already having, they were blasting the music on the way back. An awesome mix of all kinds of music. From reggae to rap to pop! We were with another family with children and we were all singing along and really enjoying ourselves! IT WAS SUCH AN AWESOME DAY! If you are on St Lucia or going anytime in the future, BOOK WITH JOY'S. You will not regret it!

This cruise was the definite highlight of our day. We were able to visit sugar beach, swim and snorkel. The Piton mountains, mudbath and waterfalls were so much fun!! Johnny entertained all of us with his fun personality and humor. We ate at the home of Joy and the food prepared for us was amazing. Our cruise took us to various sites and our memories in St. Lucia will never be forgotten.

This is one of the best tour operators that we have come across in the Caribbean Islands. This is a family owned and operated business. Their boats are well maintained by the professional crews, who are very versed in their island’s history and current affairs. This one-day tour along the West Coast and inland, is something every visitor to the island will enjoy. I must mention the great local lunch that is served at their home. To J.J and the entire team. I don’t even know how to begin to tell you how awesome this tour was. First of all they are the nicest people you’ll meet in Saint Lucia. The tour was everything they said it would be and more. Vaughan, Johnny, Patrice and Captain Raymond were great hosts and fabulous entertainers!! There are plenty of other yours that will take you to the mud baths, falls & snorkeling but not with this much fun. You can tell they love their jobs. For lunch we were taken to the owners home for an awsome lunch. The business is family owned and they take pride on providing the best service. You absolutely get your monies worth.
