Spent our last evening on vacation in Romania at Bistro GUXT because of the great reviews and it was such a delight! We went around 5:30 PM and had the whole outside dining area to ourselves. The server was welcoming and helpful and all of our meals were GORGEOUS and delicious! But really the preparation of the entrees was best I’ve seen! The prices are a little higher than other places in the area but I felt like I got a great value for what I spent. Highly highly recommend!

This small family restaurant owned by three sisters was a great surprise. It was not perfect, but surely the best restaurant I have visited in a long time. The venue is a small house divided in two rooms. The atmosphere is extremely casual. The food is delicious and the plating very beautiful. We had the carrot salad and cucumber salad as starters. Both delicious and colorful but very different from one another (quick note: the carrot salad is big). As mains, we had the octopus and the fish soup. Both highly recommended and I would love to one day come back to try the other mains. To close the dinner, I had a delicious carrot cake. The wine list was ok and we could sample some good local wines. In the end, the credit card machine stopped working and we couldn’t pay: but there was no stress and we could make a bank transfer to their account. Overall, a great dinner in an relaxed restaurant.

After visiting a trashy touristy restaurant the night before we were really needing to find us some good authentic Bucharest food. We could not have found a better place to erase the horrible food memories from the night before. The service was #1. AND THE FOOD!!!! It was absolutely superb. Could not have found a better restaurant in Bucharest. Absolutely loved.

The food is really really good. One of the best I've ever eat. It's really worth it to go there. The waitress (woman with blonde short hair) was really friendly and experienced. Great beer too. Go there.
