I frequently visit Porto for work and happened to be staying at an apartment down the road from this restaurant. My collegue and I found the atmosphere relaxing with cute Mexico inspired decor. The staff are helpful and enthusiastic. The menu was inspiring and food was delicious. We have added Frida to our list of recommendable restaurants and will be back again next time.

More then five stars for food, excellent service and a superb atmosphere. Yes, you should try real Mexican food in Porto!!! We were just amazed and delighted

Exceptional experience. Never had better vegetarian Mexican food and I have a decent mileage. Cannot recommend anything more

Very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff. You could feel their passion for Mexican cuisine. As for the food and drinks the margarita was near damn perfect, but the dishes left some to be desired in taste and while quirky is fun, our dishes bordered on strange. All in all a good experience, but left thinking it might have worked better as a mid-range concept instead of aiming for fine dining.

Disappointing. Staff were very nice but the food was very disappointing. Not as flavourful as I had expected. Wasn't even spicy. Chicken was full of fatty chewy bits. Stuffed chilli wasn't tasty. Corn tortillas that came with the mains were horrible. The flour ones were much better. I ordered cheese starter and it was a pot of tastless melted cheese with a couple of slices of mushroom in it. Very poor meal. We had a lot of great meals in Porto and this was the only bad one. Even the cocktails were poor. Choices are quite limited too. They gave us tortillas chips when we sat down, never asked if we wanted them. We assumed they were just a free snack while we waited for our drinks. And they charged us for them!! The place is very busy and I'm not sure why.
