Vía Boquete, Bajo Boquete, Panama
The food was actually pretty decent, however they charged me $7.00 for a side order of sauteed vegetables. That's 1/2 the price of a pasta dish and they don't even list the prices of their side items on the menu (neither English nor Spanish)
Charming fine Italian dining in heart of Boquete. Shared Eggplant Tower (prettier than picture). I had spaghettini Bolognese and companion had Portobello tenderloins with spaghettini, both perfectly prepared. Very reasonable for care of preparation and presentation.
Good ambience for a quiet Tuesday evening - mercifully the staff turned down the volume on the Lionel Richie/Whitney Houston mix just as we were seated - and thoughtful but not intrusive service. Food was well presented and tasty, portion size just right. Limited but appropriate choice of wines. Well worth a visit.
This was the best meal I have had in Boquete so far. Service was excellent, food was excellent. I will return !
Lovely spot for lunch. Ordered the carbonara and my partner ordered the ravioli. Both were creative takes on satisfying classics, clean presentation, vibrant flavors. Recommend it.
