The beef cheeks were perfectly spiced and flavorful-a great hearty dish after a long day hiking and in the cold. The restaurant was very cozy and inviting and the service was attentive. I had a wonderful meal!

Wonderful meal, started with the mackerel, followed by the beef cheek, and strawberries for desert. We appreciated the use of locale ingredients and straight forward elegant execution of the fair. Service was impeccable. The carrot soup was sublime. The wine choice was special, a natural wine from South Africa that was a recommendation. Excellent choice! Not at all pretentious, but clear and focused, really enjoyed our meal and highly recommend.

We were recommended the restaurant by our tour guide and it didn't disapoint. The menu is limited but focuses on fresh local ingredients superbly prepared. The friendly and helpful service and good range of craft beers and wine was a bonus. The restaurant is clean, bright and comfortable with a good atmosphere. Next time I visit Bergen I will not hesitate to return here.

Gastronomy delight. You discovered so much flavour and different taste in every plate. We have been in Norway a few days now and have not been looking forward to any meals because it’s just not good and expensive. But this saves Norway. Friendly staff. We asked about how some of the dishes were cooked. Do reserve ahead of time especially in summer. We have to come back later due to full house and we don’t have a reservation.

Great place to dine. Superb varied menu to suit all tastes - all healthy dishes, cooked and presented to perfection. Very reasonably priced too. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
