Old fort in Kongsvinger. There are museums and hotel. Also the view are fantastic. This is a place you should stop at if going true kongsvinger.

It’s a very rare occasion to spend time in a historical place. If you want to feel like an army general, you should book your room here. Great landscapes, fantastic rooms, wonderful service. All in walls of old fortress. Good job Norway Army!

Fortress Hotel & Resort was an absolute delight. As a dining guest, the food was superb and the view was amazing. The service was overall fine as well, but with some flaws, which is what makes it deserve four stars.
