A very nice resort with a wonderful staff. Very polite shuttle drivers which are necessary because resort is so big. I just found that the resort had a few deficiencies here and there. Air in rooms was adequate, thermostat can only be set as low as 22 celcius. Extreme heat and humidity yet some restaurants are outdoors. Found the Brazilian restaurant to be the best. The steakhouse at the neighbouring Beach resort is known for the rib eye but my piece had a lot of fat and grizzle. I do recommend the resort for affordability but i would consider a step up in the Iberostar chain like the Riviera Maya. They have a lobby with air conditioning which the Del Mar does not.

My review may be a bit biased as it was my first all inclusive resort experience but even with traveling with family members who have visited similar resorts, they agree this was one of the best out there. From the amazing selections in food, the tasty drinks and room service to the abundant activities and amazing pool and ocean views, what’s not to like. I’ll definitely be looking for Iberostar resorts in the future.

My husband and I just had a great vacation at the resort. We felt like King and Queen while staying at the hotel . Because it is a big place, walking from place to place was kinda far. So we called front desk to an electrical cab picked us up to where we wanted to go within the resort. All you can eat for food and drink were already paid for . There were 3-4 pools and the beach right behind at the resort so enjoying in the water as much as you could. I deducted 1 star because food were not so great...but I knew I couldn't expect much with the price .

Awesome place fo vacation. Family or honeymoon or just chill out and spend amazing time. I recommended this place 100%.
