Gede Watamu Rd, Gede, Kenya
Before going I thought it would be a place all around "look how cool and badass snakes are!", and I was very happy to be proven wrong. The hour-long tour is super informative and useful, and their daily work producing anti venom, doing snake removal and educating people how to deal with snakes is life saving. Best thing I did in Watamu.
Our guide was amazing. They don't have many snakes though, say 20 different types. Spitting cobras, the black mamba, puff adders, forest cobras, pythons, green mambas and some semi venomous and non venomous snakes that you can touch. Generally safe though, they also have 3 different types of tortoise and a turtle
Great place to visit. Come on thursday to feed the snakes. They ket you handle a few and some tortoises.
Its a nice place for those who don't fear snakes.
Fantastic......not as scary when your in good hands and their services helped calm any fears you might have. Nice place to visit.
