Piazza Galvani, 1, 40124 Bologna BO, Italy
What a unique experience. The anatomical theater is housed in an ancient building in Bologna part of which was destroyed in WWII then restored. You’ll find frescoes and the coats of arms from the affluent students’ families on the hallways. The 3 euro reservation fee allows you time to look over the anatomical theater and also a salon that is part of a functioning library in the same building. Awe inspiring to be in this place!
Centrally located, this is a small sightseeing that you might want to enjoy. Easily seen in 30 minutes. It costs 3€ per person and you must book in advance (online) on Saturdays and holidays which adds more fees. Both room are interesting although the anatomy room is rather small compared to others that we've seen in the past
The anatomical theatre is a great attraction. For three euros, tourists can visit the anatomical theatre and the former university, one of Europe’s first. The students coats of arms are really amazing and all over the walls
It’s a joined ticket with the Library. The Thearte is a truly spectacular place. We were at awe and spend quite some time inside admiring the artistry.
Great sightseeing and simply beautiful. Also a big part of it is free except for the Teatro anatomico (one room only but worth seeing for €3) or the Ute to bibliteca library (not sure the fee here as I didn’t go)
