Charming and interesting - in particular thanks to the marvelous view of the lake from the top and for the extensive toy museum, without doubt a different experience from your usual museums. The visit includes different locations only reachable by stairs - something to keep in mind in case of any form of impaired mobility.

Nice views and cute gardens. However the temporary contemporary art exhibition experience was ruined by oversensitive alarms that go off if you dare watch the works 50 cm away... Not worth the trip if not on your way, but ok for a quick stop if you are on the right bank of Lago Maggiore already.
