Viale Virgilio, 107, 10126 Torino TO, Italy
This is a perfect replica of a medieval village and castle, it makes you feel you travelled in time. all the staff working there is very friendly, there is also a little caffe house and a small tour available to see the inside of the castle and the gardens. I expected to see the top of the tower and convinced the whole village has much more places to be seen, but were closed to the public. Anyways is a very recommended place to see if you are visiting Torino
Great place to spend time with kids, buy nice quality souvenirs (wooden/metal swords, silver jewelry, medieval clothes) and lunch in a lovely garden. One of the highlights of our trip to Turin.
A nice walk but it pretty much ends there. The fort is a replica of medieval times but incorporates too many things from that time period and it's more chaotic than harmonious. The setting in the park, along the river, is very nice.
The medieval village of Turin is located in the heart of Valentino Park. It was created in 1884 for the general Italian exhibition that took place in Turin. It recreates the atmosphere of a typical 15th century Piedmontese town: you can see a drawbridge, craft shops and even a chapel. It had a cool way of closing doors to the place by closing down the bridge. It also had a shop which was selling Harry Potter wands and swords etc
It was beautiful and quaint they allowed dogs as well always a plus and a half. I will return.
