The breakfast and the evening appetizers provided in the hotel lounge were great! It definitely saved us from having to spend additional money on overpriced Iceland meals (ha!). Great hotel in a convenient location - some restaurants and a grocery store nearby, and parking was available. The rooms were clean, but very small! I would stay here again on my next trip to Iceland.

The hotel itself was good. Clean room, nice bed, friendly staff. The issue was the restaurant, specifically the bar connect to the restaurant. The restaurant is a M One Star but not from our experience. We sat down at round 7:30 in the evening. After waiting over an hour for our food we had to find the server and ask them to check what was going on. When they asked us to restate our order it should have been the next indication of a problem. They came back after a few minutes and said the food would be out in 10 minutes. Clearly the forgot to put the order into the kitchen. At 9 (an hour and a half) we got our food. My hamburger was uncooked in the middle. Not just rare but uncooked. I then asked to speak to the restaurant manager. She came over and said she was sorry. Offered to cook another burger but at that point I was ready to leave. I gave her the burger and she left. A few minutes later we ashed for and received the bill. Imagine my surprise when the burger was still included. The server was not aware of the discussion with the manager. I told her to remove the burger. We paid and left. If that is the way the restaurant and the manager deal with customers I find it hard to believe this could be a M Star rated restaurant. I will not be going back.

This Hilton is BEAUTIFUL! From the time we arrived to the time we left, we enjoyed every bit of it. The staff was excellent! The rooms were clean and a wonderful size space for two people. I would definitely return to this location.

The room is clean, the bed is comfy, and the reception staff are pleasant. Otherwise this hotel is disappointing. The biggest issue for me is the paper thin walls...it’s hard to rest when you can hear every person passing by in the hallway. In addition, the sweltering heat inside the room, the tiny room size, and the considerable distance from the city centre make this hotel experience just okay.

Ace place to go nice walk away from Reykjavik center and lovely staff. Although was underwhelmed by the view from. The hotel window, out of all the beautiful mountainscapes you can see in Reykjavik, we got a carpark with a shop. Nevertheless the stay was lovely!
