The best cinnamon buns! We kept coming back for more everyday! Someone even stowed one away in their checked luggage and took it home with them haha the staff members were charming. Lots of options to choose from. Good luck making a decision!

Delightful discovery in Reykjavik today. We were looking for a place to grab a bite for lunch to accommodate both the vegan and non-vegans in our group and came across the Brikk cafe. YUM! The vegan sandwiches of sweet potato, pickled mushrooms, pickled onions, pesto, and a garlic aioli on artisan bread were excellent. I had the chicken sandwich--tender bite-sized pieces with a light barbeque sauce, arugula, pickled onions, and a bit of garlic aioli on the same hearty bread. The combination was just delicious! Bring an appetite...the portions are generous. Highly recommended!

The sourdough bread is top notch, tasty, with a crunchy crust and tender inside. Paired with the soup of the day (cauliflower when I was there) makes for the perfect lunch. Their pastries are also to die for.

Their sourdough with the tomato soup was excellent. There is a great selection of spreads to go on top as well. The oat lattes even better, and perfect drink to warm up from the cold wind. Staff were very pleasant, would absolutely stop in for a great snack!

Fantastic bread and we learned about spreads. Next time we need to pick up snacks for the road, we're stopping here for bread and spreads! And the pastries were delicious. We tried the Nutella one and it was almost like a sugar crusted croissant.
