The place is unbelievable we went with no booking .so get there earlier. Food is out of this world. staff very good English drinks very good price we party of six main meal desserts wine beers liquor. great music. Our bill 140,00 euros fantastic we will be back

Amazing food and great service. We had grilled squid and a roast kid dish.. Lovely wine and good music, drumming and bum-wiggling dancing. Will try to go back on our last day for more.

Well...the dinner and live musical evening was part of our tour package and it was basically a Friday night tourist trap so I should not have had very high expectations. The service, food and drinks were average. I did not care for the tourist trap atmosphere nor the environment of turning over the tables as quickly as possible. I was MOST disappointed at the evening’s entertainment: a rotation of three male vocalists who did Morna a disservice. Cesaria Evora put Morna on the global map and they were not equipped to do justice to such a beautiful genre. They were much better instrumentalists and should have stayed in that role because their singing was uninspiring, dull and well boring which almost put me to sleep during their sets. Yes, I’m particular about music and have enjoyed a lifelong passion for it, so sorry I just don’t believe they should have been singing. Would I return: ABSOLUTELY NOT.
