I went there to capture some photos as it was one of the recommended place to visit. Nice place but we didn't manage to checkout the place at night. Nicely decorated and setup small eatery along the train street. Wonderful experience! Lovely shot captured too!

Amazing experience to witness train passing by the restaurants / coffee shops very closed to its tracks. Definitely a must visit or see this place. They operate Everyday, make sure to check their timings so you can get there good timing. Definitely try one of the coffee shops around with their authentic local coffee and other local dishes. You won’t get disappointed of visiting this place and waiting for train to pass by.

One of the best places to visit in Hanoi in my opinion, great place to sit back and relax and also good to take a lot of “touristy” photos. At night you can see how the locals make room to the train quickly and one second after it passed everything is back to normal. It sure was an awesome experience to see how the train passes, but it’s also a bit dangerous so be careful 😁

We went here thinking it was going to be a horrendous tourist trap. . . It is a crazy touristy but we had a great time. A few beers and shoe shine later the train came through and for some reason my husband was surprised to see an actual train 😂🙈 definitely a great experience for us and recommended to others. We stopped in the cafe called 'Coffee78' (we think) it even had the train timetable so you were prepared!

Nothing special about it but we had such fun regardless. Check the weekend schedule and get there early since the trains schedules are not set in stone. We got there at 8:15AM on a Saturday and were able to get a table right on the tracks. Enjoyed some coffee and local foods while we waited! Train came about 15 minutes early (scheduled for 9AM but came at 8:45AM). There are actually many locations you can enter the tracks from so don’t be confused if you see multiple different locations for the Hanoi train street.
